Caring for Your New Baby
A supportive & educational space for parents who are expecting & in the first year, learning how to feed, care for, understand & bond with their baby.
I met my first newborn when I was 7, and was instantly obsessed. By 9 I had read all the babysitters club books, convinced the Red Cross to offer a CPR class for childcare providers in my little town, and by 12 was working for a different family every day after school.
In college, this love translated to a bachelors degree in psychology, with a focus on child development and the parent-infant attachment. My love grew to include Birth Work when I realized that if I could support and empower a family during one of the most significant transitions of their lives, this had the potential to heal and change the world, one family at a time.
From Doula work I graduated to Midwifery, Newborn Care & Lactation Education, Lactation Consultation, Craniosacral Therapy for Infants (because I always come back to the babies), and finally a baby of my own. I love helping new parents to find their footing, build confidence, learn to trust themselves, and understand, connect with and care for their babies.
