STAND is a community built by parents, for parents of children with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities, including invisible conditions.
Between us, we have walked the long corridors of assessments, fought for support plans, sat in meetings where we felt unheard, and carried the invisible weight that comes with raising children with hidden disabilities. We have experienced the delays, the dismissals, the paperwork battles and the emotional toll of broken systems that leave parents to hold everything together alone.
But what we also found was strength.
Strength in advocacy. Strength in education. Strength in community.
We know what it feels like to question yourself in meetings, to leave appointments frustrated, to feel isolated in a world that does not fully understand hidden needs. And we know how powerful it is when a parent finally feels heard and seen.
Our mission is simple. To create a community where parents are empowered, informed and supported.
A movement where we stand together for our children.
Because when parents are strong, informed and united, systems have to change.
