Printing, Dyeing, & Stitching
A community for anyone interested in mixed media textile arts to learn and share projects and ideas.
Welcome. This is a community space based around sharing our art and craft journeys with each other.
Background:
"Printing, Dyeing, and Stitching" was a course I taught in at least 3 iterations at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Windgate Art School, formerly known as the "Museum School." Teaching this workshop was pure joy! Most of my students were art teachers themselves, and totally ready to experiment. Everyone brought their own experience to the table, and we had a ball learning from each other.
My intention for this group:
Think of this skool as a community space for artists where we like to hang out, see what others have been making, and share about our process, materials, and techniques. We can post something and ask for feedback (or not), finished work, work in progress, etc. This space holds the potential for collaboration, and camaraderie.
Membership:
Joining this group is free, and I will eventually offer content such as PDF downloads, tutorials, and courses for a fee.
