A private, supportive community for those navigating loss. A safe space to grieve, heal, share, and feel less alone.
I’m Deiedria, and I’d like to share why I created this space.
I know grief not just from one loss, but from many. I lost my sister to suicide in 2019. I lost my oldest brother in 2003. I lost my son to gun violence in 2024. I lost my mother to breast cancer in 2025. And I lost 3 nephew between 2020-2024. Grief has come into my life in many ways, and I understand how it feels when loss layers on top of loss.
I created Gracefully Broken not because I have all the answers, but because I wanted a gentle place where we don’t have to explain why we’re still grieving, or why some days are heavier than others.
You’re welcome here in whatever way feels right. You’re not alone.
