First Steps Line Dancing with Tami is a fun, welcoming community for anyone who wants to learn how to line dance—no experience required. With over 25 years of dance experience in jazz, ballet, and tap, Tami brings a strong technical foundation and a passion for helping others feel comfortable, confident, and supported on the dance floor.
What started as teaching a small local line dancing group has grown immensely over the past four years, alongside the growing popularity of dance. Classes are designed to meet dancers where they are, offering easy beginner through advanced dances, all broken down in a way that’s approachable and fun.
Tami focuses on teaching the newest and must-learn line dances, while creating an environment where everyone feels welcome, encouraged, and excited to move. Whether you’re taking your very first step or ready to level up, First Steps Line Dancing is about learning, laughing, and dancing together.
