Smidgen of Calm is a gentle creative community for people who want to reconnect with creativity in a slower, kinder way.
It’s for anyone who feels drawn to making but feels overwhelmed, out of practice, or unsure where to begin. This is a space where creativity supports wellbeing rather than pressure or perfection.
Inside Smidgen of Calm you’ll find gentle creative prompts, illustration and printmaking lessons, art journalling, calming downloads , and a supportive community that values kindness over comparison.
There’s no right order and no expectation to keep up. You can take part actively, quietly observe, or return when you have more energy.
I’m Kate, an artist, illustrator, printmaker, and author based in the South West of England, trained in illustration and printmaking and exhibiting nationally.
