I created this community because too many parents are trying to hold everything together on their own. You deserve a space where you feel understood, supported, and actually helped — not judged, dismissed, or overwhelmed with advice that doesn’t respect how your child’s brain works.
Who I Am - I’m Carina Macmillan, a qualified teacher and hypnotherapist specialising in children, teenagers, and parents.
My background blends psychology, education, neuroscience, and therapeutic practice, giving me a unique lens on the challenges facing neurodivergent young people and the parents who support them.
I have a Master’s in Autism, PGCE (ASN 3-18years), Psychology degree, and I am a qualified teacher with extensive experience in ASN, Inclusion, and Nurture roles. I am also a hypnotherapist specialising in school anxiety, emotional regulation, confidence, and wellbeing. Across all my roles, one theme has been constant: Parents are exhausted, and they aren’t being given the support they need.
