👋 Hi, I'm Angelyn, and I've been an SLP since 2010.
For years, I thought that if I tried harder, I'd eventually figure out “work-life balance.” But after working across multiple SLP settings and researching stress and burnout during my SLPD program, I realized the problem was I had become chronically disconnected from my own needs, capacity, and values while operating inside of systems that normalized and rewarded self-sacrifice.
Learning how chronic stress, late-dx ADHD, perfectionism, & people-pleasing had shaped my life changed everything. I finally stopped living in survival mode & started building a life that actually felt good in my bones.
