Food From Air BC and Sahara

Our current agriculture is hurting the world and putting society at risk of biodiversity loss, agricultural collapse, hunger and civil strife. Good cheap protein may be out of reach for many. Could an area of the Sahara Desert in Egypt 70km x 70km devoted to fermented microbe production, inclusive of solar panels, potentially feed half the world 40 grams of good cheap protein per day per person with much less pollution while managing big risks? Out of thin air and a little bit of water? Just ask AI and the answer is this is possible in principle. So let's take it all seriously and explore protein from air. Let's take the initiative and build a new community that will build!
