Our school in Harlingen offers Haedong Kumdo – Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu under the guidance of Master Frank Heininga. Visitors are welcome.
We train in the authentic Korean sword art Haedong Kumdo — not as a sport, but as a way of life. Every strike, every stance, and every breath strengthens your vitality, discipline, and inner power.
Our mission: to guide you toward the black belt. Not through shortcuts, but through a journey of challenge that sharpens the body and calms the mind. We follow the curriculum of Grandmaster Kim Jeong Seong — clear, traditional, and powerfully applied in the modern world.
At Spring Dragon, you train once a week in the Dojang, and 24/7 online through our member app with class recordings, exam material, workshops, and martial arts fitness. Training takes place in small groups, with full personal attention from your instructor.
