Athletistry: Ballet & Anatomy
Athletistry is the room where serious dancers and teachers build technique that holds, without forcing, faking, or fifteen-second fixes.
The Athletistry Project helps dancers and teachers stuck on corrections that don't work to understand how their body actually creates movement, through anatomical explanation from a former Principal Artist so they dance better, practice smarter, and dance for many years.
Most dancers are told what to do. Almost nobody explains how the body creates it. That gap is where the frustration lives, and where you start to think the problem is you. It isn't. It's the teaching.
Inside, you learn ballet through anatomy, so technique makes sense in your body, not just in theory.
