SPEAK exists to support people working in the construction industry before things reach crisis point.

Construction is one of the highest risk industries in the UK for poor mental health and suicide. Long hours, physical fatigue, job pressure, and a culture that often rewards silence mean many people carry stress and struggle alone for years.

We’re here to change that.

SPEAK focuses on prevention, not firefighting. Most support only appears when someone is already at breaking point. We believe real impact happens earlier, helping people recognise pressure, talk honestly, and build habits and connections that stop things escalating.

We don’t provide therapy or replace crisis services. What we do is create safe, practical spaces where people can speak up, listen, learn simple tools, and feel less alone.

Inside this community you’ll find live sessions, peer to peer support, expert guests who understand construction life, and events that turn conversation into action.
