Parenting on the Spectrum

My name is Connie. My journey into the world of Autism started with my oldest two children, one of which has/had severe sensory dysregulation and the other diagnosed with Autism. Being in a world that didn't offer much help beyond Early Intervention at the time, I was floundering and turned to knowledge to assist my kiddos. Since then I have had two more amazing kids, both on the spectrum as well. I have worked in the field of behavioral learning since 2004 and have been a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) since 2017. I have explored many avenues and am currently working in a center for ages 2-7 (average). I have also enjoyed many opportunities to train future analysts as an assistant professor and a supervisor for several BCBA-mentees. I have a passion for teaching and that has brought me here.
