Most trainers start by teaching your dog obedience, but sitting, lying down, and staying in place won’t address issues such as your dog's obsession with distractions, jumping up, overexcitement, fear, anxiety, or reactivity.
Real change occurs only when dogs are calm, focused, and emotionally prepared to learn.
At MuttSkool, we prioritize teaching emotional regulation and self-control. When dogs feel safe, connected, and capable, they listen, respond, and take on the world… ignoring one daring squirrel at a time.
