My name is Ross Young,

Coaching and learning are defining aspects of my life.

With 25 years of experience as an athlete and coach in endurance sport, I continue seeking ways to expand my knowledge so I can provide the best coaching support for athletes I work with. My coaching is a mix of "science" and "art" with a focus on finding what works best for each individual.

I've had some of the world's best coaches as my personal coaches and mentors over many years. They have supported, educated, challenged, celebrated with me, learned with me, and allowed me space to learn for myself. I take the time to get to know each of my athletes so that I can provide all of these things for them through their journey. Every athlete is different, I believe the real key to helping athletes reach their potential is to know the athlete, understand the athlete and work "with" the athlete.
