Solo Parent Village is an inclusive, welcoming community where Solo Parents by Choice can come together to share resources, support & connection.
Welcome to Solo Parent Village, a community for intentional Solo Parents and Parents-to-be. Entering parenthood, with its many avenues, joys and challenges, can be both empowering and isolating for a person exploring this path on their own. Ours is a vibrant, amazing community who come together for a shared language and experience, and to make connections that will be a source of encouragement, information, support, and grounding throughout this journey. All gender expressions (mom, dad, mapa, poppy, baba, etc.) and approaches (pregnancy, surrogacy, adoption, foster, etc.) are welcome.
Our host, Rebecca Elowen, is a Midwife, Lactation Consultant & Craniosacral Therapist, who has been facilitating support groups and classes for Solo Parents since 2010. Solo Parent Village was created as a virtual hub for Solo Parents & Parents-to-be at all stages and from around the world. This community is open to the public as well as to members of Rebecca's groups and classes - all are welcome!
