Learn and train in Nami Ryu Kenjutsu and Nami Ryu Aiki Heiho with Randy George Sensei in our online community. George Sensei has trained and taught martial arts for over 40 years and has been a student of James Williams Sensei, kaicho of Nami Ryu Aiki Heiho, since 2008.
Williams Sensei was a student of Don Angier Sensei, inheritor of Shidare Yanagi Ryu Aiki Bugei, the family art of the Yoshida clan. Angier Sensei was the only student and "yoshi", or adopted son, of Yoshida Kenji, son of Yoshida Kotaro, who passed on the family art to him.
Nami Ryu comes from Yanagi Ryu and has been is heavily influenced over the past 20 years by Shinbukan and the Komagawa Kaishin Ryu under the late Kuroda Tetsuzan Sensei. Shinbukan is now headed by O-Sensei's son, Kuroda Yasumasa Sensei.
