I have struggled with weight gain and loss for most of my life. After many years as a university professor, I changed careers following my own 60-pound weight loss. I became a diet coach but quickly realized I needed deeper knowledge to help both myself and my clients lose weight in a healthy, sustainable way.
I returned to school and earned certificates from Cornell University in Health and Nutrition and Whole Food Plant-Based Nutrition, as well as a Health and Wellness Coaching certification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I then became a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC).
In 2017, I opened my own clinic, a woman-owned business dedicated to client health and success. Since then, I have helped hundreds of clients lose weight, improve their nutrition, and better understand emotional eating to maintain long-term results.
