With over three decades dedicated to fostering healthy starts, I’ve walked the path from NICU bedsides to birthing rooms, offering postpartum support and empowering the next generation of doulas.I hold a BA in Child and Family Development from San Diego State University, embracing a holistic view of family dynamics. I also hold an AA in Respiratory Therapy.

For more than twenty years, I have served as a birth and postpartum doula, witnessing the transformative power of compassionate support during life’s most vulnerable moments. Each birth has enriched my knowledge, and every family has expanded my heart. I created The Doula Compass because I believe every doula deserves a mentor—someone who has navigated this journey, learned from both mistakes and successes, and knows what it takes to build a sustainable, fulfilling birth business.
