Finding Common Ground

With a career spanning juvenile justice, residential care, and in-home wraparound services, I specialize in the high-stakes language of emotional support. I’m currently a middle school teacher with experience supporting elementary students as well. In volatile environments, I’ve learned that words aren’t just communication. They are the primary tools for safety, de-escalation, and stability. These aren’t just theories; they’re the exact strategies I rely on in the field.

This community isn’t about being perfect. It’s about learning what works, naming what doesn’t, and recovering when we say the wrong thing (because we will). We focus on communicating better, arguing less, and connecting more especially when things get messy.
