Hi! I’m Jessie — owner/operator of Caring For, herbalist, sewist, homeschooling mama of 3, and the chaos behind this community. 😂

I started sewing reusable household products in 2015, began making our own herbal remedies after becoming a mom, and officially opened the apothecary side of Caring For in 2022. Since then, this little homegrown business has expanded into handmade herbal remedies, reusable cloth menstrual products, educational books & curriculum, my DIY Herbalism Course, and a whole lot of natural living education.

It’s Thyme began during one of the scariest seasons of my family’s life after my mom was misdiagnosed with cancer in 2023. That experience inspired me to create a space for herbalism, natural parenting, detox support, holistic living, education, and real-life wellness conversations without the fear mongering or gatekeeping.
