Salutations! My name is Ruben, from Guadalupe Arizona! I’ve been active member of the bowling community for 20yrs. I grew up in bowling alleys. My dad has been in leagues as long as I can remember. Bowling was always a fun way to bring together family and friends.
At 19, my dad signed us up for a league together. I had no real skill then, just a love for competing, learning, and sharing the game with him. Over the years, I’ve bowled in competitive leagues, tournaments, and casual leagues. Meeting all types of bowlers!
In November 2023, my little sister who loved bowling passed away. She was part of a Las Vegas league and was on a team with my dad. After her passing, I rejoined my dad in 2024 even though I initially didn’t want to bowl. I did it in her honor. What started as emotional healing turned into passion again, and Team Gabby 🖤💛 went on to become league Champions!
