This space was created because too many Black women have been navigating moments that “don’t sit right”…and then being told to ignore them.

I wrote "Beyond the Surface: Uncovering the Microaggressions Black Women Endure" and its companion healing journal, to name what has been happening—clearly, honestly, and unapologetically.

Because once you can name it… you can stop internalizing it.

But I also know this:
