Welcome to (Being) the Steady Parent: Helping families build capabilities to move from pressure to flow.
Who I Am: A dad, a teacher, and a leadership researcher (EdD). I am not a therapist. I don’t treat patients. Instead, I help parents apply strategies to get their families "unstuck."
What This Community Is About? For 30 years, I have studied & supported leaders, teachers, and teens navigating uncertainty. I found that the best leaders (and parents) aren't the ones who try to exert control, they are the ones who stay nimble.
Here, we treat parenting not as a science, but as a creative practice:
