The Sober Artist

The Sober Artist community is here for actors, writers, musicians, painters — artists of all kinds who are sober or living a mostly sober lifestyle.

More and more, we find ourselves isolated in our artistic pursuits, and alone, it can be extraordinarily challenging to keep showing up day after day.

One of the greatest dangers of that isolation is losing touch with who we truly are. We need to be reminded, daily, that we are artists — and that identity is worth protecting.

Here you’ll find daily primers that help us start our day off with the right focus, a system of artist accountability where we can gently help each other stay productive, and weekly meetings that help us connect with each other and reconnect with our true identity as artists.
