LiL' Bit Farm
On the farm there is a little of this and little of that. Critters, crafting, cooking and baking all come together.
So my daughter has this goat named Hazel. Hazel was over due by two weeks so we had the vet come out and do an ultrasound to make sure babies were ok and not in distress. Everything looked good. About a week later Hazel finally started showing signs of giving birth. We watched her closely. She ended up having triplets. The videos show how one of them had some trouble walking. She had a selenium deficiency. A selenium deficiency is a trace mineral that helps in the development and production in goats. So we talked to the vet he gave us medicine to give all three triplets. We gave them each one shot a day for three days to provide the lacking selenium for full development. All the babies did so well. They grew very well and my daughter eventually sold them thus making a little bit of money to keep her program going. Learning how to feed and take care of animals is a great way to teach lifelong decisions.
